Wanting More from management
Based on experience, the situation in many
companies is that Individuals at all levels are expected to do more. Simply
requiring more will not necessarily make it happen. There
is a
great deal of emphasis placed on cultural diversity to the point where there is a
significant amount of frustration among many groups. Cultural
differences are real and they are important; however, there are more
inherent behavioural similarities among members of the human race than differences.
Is it the case that most training
initiatives seldom accomplish their stated purpose? Is this because the vast majority of
training is information based? Although the information makes sense, participants are not taught "how to" skills (behaviour)
necessary to convert the information into meaningful results.
These observations plus more gave birth
to POSITIVE LEADERSHIP PRACTICES© and are addressed within a truly fantastic
