What about the phase there is
no such thing as constructive criticism." Criticism is still criticism. Individuals
who are criticised only learn to criticise others; they do not change their behaviour. Talking about "empowerment" does
not make it happen. Empowerment is a complex procedure. Those transferring power
must not feel effete and threatened. Those receiving power must actually want it.
Responsibility
can not be assigned or delegated. Individuals respond only if the task/function matches their intrinsic values. All humans experience progression-regression when
learning new behaviours. Only through effective facilitation will they understand
and accept this phenomenon as natural.
